Xbox new generation consoles are meant to play the games in 4k @ 120Hz and HDR signal. For having a gaming experience like this, you can use the HDMI and other cables from the previous Xbox One console as well. However, it is always suggested that you should use a new HDMI cable rated for at least HDMI 2.1 for transmitting the best of video quality to the display. Apart from that, there is another setting that you can change on your display as well for enhancing the quality of gameplay. Once done, make sure that you have a Dolby Atmos surround sound system or soundbar, that you will have to download an app to ensure that supported movies output the correct sound channels. You can also pay a one-off fee of around £14 for enjoying the Dolby Atmos through headphones. It is definitely worth an upgrade or tweak as it really provides a completely different experience to your gameplay on the console. Also, since each console is capable of displaying Dolby Vision, make sure that it is enabled in the settings of your TV if it has the feature. Apart from that, make sure to get a separate hard disk for your Xbox to expand the storage as new-generation games take a lot of space. Sony is reportedly discontinuing the PS4 and PS4 Pro models

With the release of Playstation 5, Sony has seen record-breaking sales for the console, and now the company is already planning to discontinue the production of their most popular last-generation console, the Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro. However, the discontinuation will currently be implemented only in Japan and could soon be something that Sony has been planning to implement globally as well. As per the information from the local retailers in Japan, they have informed all their customers that they will no longer be stocking the PS4 variants, nor the Glacier White edition of PS4 pro.

As per them, it has been done because Sony has decided to stop the manufacturing of these consoles. The statement was also posted by Sony on social media, claiming that it would no longer offer PS4 Pro consoles for sale, before subsequently removing that statement after press coverage. The decision has definitely been taken due to the enormous response the company has received from PS5 and after the announcement, the PS4 numbers in the market will only be limited. Sony has not made an official announcement for the same but the details have been confirmed by a leakster on Twitter by the name Cheesemeister.

The PS4 variants that will no longer be manufactured by the company are PS4 500GB Glacier White, PS4 1TB Jet Black, PS4 1TB Glacier White, PS4 2TB Jet Black, and PS4 Pro 1TB Glacier White. The PS4 variants were sold in huge numbers recently in the Black Friday sale and the discount on them was very huge. This might be one of the major reasons why the console was available in the market at such a huge discount. It seems that the company will only be keeping the PS5 and PS5 digital edition as their gaming consoles in the market. So if you were planning to buy a PS4 for yourself, then this might be the right time to get the console if it is still available.

Xbox Game Pass might add Ubisoft Uplay+ games soon

For those who are already playing Xbox consoles, do know about the Xbox Game Pass feature, which is a paid subscription and provides access to some of the most exclusive and paid games without having to buy them. Microsoft has been trying to expand the reach of Xbox Game Pass so that more and more features could be added to it. In the same attempt, the company will be adding more gameplay options like they added EA Play in the past. The details given by Jez Corden of Windows Central, claims on Twitter that Xbox Games Pass will now have access to Ubisoft’s UPlay+ as well.

Now Microsoft already has different types of subscriptions for the users like Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live Gold, etc. However, Xbox Game Plass Ultimate provides the users with all of this subscription as well as access to Xbox Game Pass for PC, EA Play, and access to Xbox Cloud gaming service. Now the new addition of Ubisoft Uplay will give more reason for the players to get the subscription, especially the Ubisoft game fans. The subscription allows the users to pay a monthly fee for which they can download free and latest games on the console for free and the list keeps on updating and new titles are regularly added.

As per the leaks, there is a very strong chance the Ubisoft Uplay+ can arrive very soon on this platform. It is expected that Microsoft is currently in negotiation with Ubisoft regarding the terms and conditions of bringing the services to their platform and soon we will be able to hear the announcement for the same. In the meanwhile, it’s not just Ubisoft UPlay that Xbox has been trying to bring in, but the company is already working on a lot of other developments as well to expand the reach for players so that they can enjoy a complete gaming experience available through all gaming companies.
